Question:

Wondering if Item # C18100 folding rack will fold up on my 2015 Subaru XV crosstrek? I have the Curt 2inch receiver I purchased from you and am now interested in a lightweight folding rack I can leave on the car. Thanks.

Long story, short.. yes the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18100 will fit folded up.

When we installed the Curt hitch part # C13135 on a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek like yours we found that it had a distance of 2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point out on the rear bumper.

The Curt carrier has 4-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier when folded up so you'd have 2-1/2 inches of total clearance.

I also attached a review video that shows the rack demoed in a similar 2014 Crosstrek and it works well.
