Question:

Item 75673 This class III says it has a max tongue weight of 600 lbs and 4000 lbs towing. If the max load for a Subaru Outback are 200 lbs tongue I would not want to max or exceed that weight, correct? This hitch doesnt make the subaru stronger, just gives it a 2 inch receiver? I have a motorcycle carrier that weighs about 350 to 400 lbs max, and I dont think I can do it with a subaru outback 2017.

You are correct. You will always be limited by a total setup's weakest component. In the case of installing the Draw-Tite Class III trailer hitch # 75673 on your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon, you will have to follow the 200 pound tongue weight capacity of the vehicle, even though the hitch itself can support much more.

Keep in mind that there is still an advantage to getting a Class III over a Class II trailer hitch for your Outback Wagon as there are far more available hitch-mounted accessories available for 2 inch receiver openings. The best option for carrying your motorcycle with your Outback Wagon would be to obtain a small trailer from a local dealer. If you decide to do this, you will also need a wiring harness like the Tekonsha T-One # 118467 to send power to the trailer's lights.
