Do Bearing Buddies Work Well on Travel Trailer Hubs
Updated 05/25/2025 | Published 02/14/2017 >
Question:
I have a 24foot travel trailer - 2017 Grand Design/Imagine Ultra Lite. Are bearing buddies a good answer for the trailer. Can they handle the longer trips and extended use? I had bearing buddies on all three of my boat trailers and they were great! This is a different application though. Comments suggestions yes/no?

Bearing Buddies are a great way to keep grease in a trailer hub. I recommend them as long as you are aware that it's very easy to put too much grease in a hub with these which will blow out the seal.
They have no problem being used on longer road trips so the would work well for you.
If the hub bore of current hub is 1.980 inches the Bearing Buddy part # BB1980A would fit and work well.
