I'm unable to access an online copy of your 2017 Hyundai Elantra's owner's manual so I recommended taking a look at your manual for the towing capacity.
We have a trailer hitch available for your Elantra if you have an SE model that is not a sport. The trailer hitch receiver I recommend is the Curt hitch # C11424 for an Elantra SE. This hitch has a gross towing weight of 2,000 pounds. However, this doesn't mean the car will be able to tow 2,000 pounds. You will be limited by the lowest rated component so if your Elantra's towing capacity is lower than the hitch then you must stay within the vehicle's limitations.
In addition to a hitch, you'll also need a wiring harness to power the trailer's lights. I suggest the Tekonsha harnesses, # 118692 if you have the SE and # 118711 for the Limited. The harness plugs into the SE behind a threshold plate and some interior lining in your car's rear cargo area. The Limited connects behind both tail lights. If you go with the Curt hitch, you will need the required stabilizer strap like # 18050.
You can then use the Curt Drawbar # C45521 and either # A-82 if you need a 2 inch hitch ball or # A-80 if you need a 1-7/8 inch. Finally, # F-4 will work for the pin and clip.
