Recommended Tire/Wheel Combos For A Homemade Forklift

Question:

Im looking for 2 tires and rims to put on my homemade little forklift. I have 5 bolt 4-1/2 BC or 4 bolt 4inch BC hubs to work with. I need a 19inch diameter with very little squatting and I would like at least 1500 lb. payload each. I can use up to a 4-1/2inch offset on the rim. Thanks,

The closest size to 19-inches we have for a tire and wheel combo are 205/65-10.

You would need a Load Range E tire for the weight you said you need to have. I have attached a link to the tire/wheel combos we offer that have those features. The Load Range E tires have a load rating of 1,650-lbs at 90 psi.

For a wheel that has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern I recommend part # AM3H490. This is a 10-ply bias ply tire. The outer diameter of this when inflated is 20.4 inches.

For a 4 on 4 bolt pattern I recommedn part # AM3H470. This combo also features a bias 10-ply tire and has a 20.4 inch diameter when inflated.

None of the tire wheel combos we have with these features has a wheel offset.
