2 1/2 Shank Recommendation for Use with the Husky Center Line HT32218 WD System
Question:
I have a 2015 Ram 2500 using the standard shank that came with The Husky Center Line weight distribution system # HT32218. will the EQ90-02-4900 work with my weight distribution hitch? The experts recommend the Reese RP3215 but the 2inch x 2inch hitch shank is a sloppy fit using the 2inch - 2 1/2inch adaptor. My primary concern is the extra 2-3 in needed over the standard Husky shank due to the height of the Ram 2500. Is there another 2 1/2 inch hitch shank besides the EQ90-02-4900 that would give me an extra 2-3in ? I know the EQ has plenty of but dont want to get into a minimum issue because I bought one with more than I needed.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4900 would work well with your Husky WD System part # HT32218 and would fit your 2-1/2 inch hitch without the use of an adapter.
For shanks that fit 2-1/2 inch hitches the # EQ90-02-4900 can do the most drop so it would be the best option we have.
