Question:

I have a Husky 5th wheel hitch that I am trying to install rails in a 2014 RAM 2500. The instructions for the husky rail kit say that we need a custom bracket kit. Not getting any help from husky. I need to nail down this issue quickly. Thanks

Husky doesn't offer a frame bracket kit for the 2014 Ram 2500.

Reese makes a frame bracket/bed rail kit that's a fit, part # RP56009-53, or Curt offers their version, which is part # C16427-204.

I believe you stated that you already have the Husky bed rails, is that correct? We don't recommend mixing manufacturers of bed rails and frame brackets, because they haven't been tested together, the weight capacity would be unknown. We recommend using frame brackets and bed rails from the same manufacturer. The rails provided by either bed/frame rail kit I mentioned above would be compatible with your Husky fifth wheel hitch.

If your truck doesn't already have the 7-way installed in the truck bed, you can install one using part # 41157.
