E-Track Recommendations for Making a Queen Size Bed on Inside of Enclosed Trailer
Question:
Im looking to build a queen sized bed inside a cargo trailer using the e-track system. For the platform, I was planning to use three 2x4 supports across the width of the trailer using the 2inch lumber e-track sockets with a piece of 3/8inch plywood on top. Can you suggest the best setup for the e-track pieces themselves? Should I use 6 2foot sections, 2 5foot sections or something else? The e-track will be screwed into the 3/8inch plywood walls of the trailer. Max sleeping weight of the bed would be 375lbs.

The correct product to use to support the boards you plan on using to support the bed would be the E-Track Wood Beam Socket # 59149.
Since you will want to have the 2 by 4s on edge to support the plywood, and the only way the # 59149 could be installed in this fashion is if the e-tracks are installed horizontally on your trailer walls. I would recommend using two etracks that will be on either side of the trailer interior walls running horizontally at the height that you want the bed to be.
I would use two sets of the # E19148 for this. This is an 5 foot section of the e-track.
