I have an 2004 Triton boat on a single axle trailer with surge brakes, boat and trailer were a package bought new by me in 2004. How do I figure out which brake part # I need?

Generally the best way to find out which brakes you need is by measuring the inside dimensions of the drum, but you can also usually determine this by your wheel size. Your best bet is to take a wheel off the trailer and pull the drum off to determine which brakes are going to work best for you.

You do not need to add additional grease to a Dexter trailer axle hub that came pre-greased. It has the correct amount in it and is ready to be used. Adding additional grease will most likely blow out the grease seal.
