Can you please confirm where the leak is located? You can normally find the leak by using Dawn dish soap, and air the bags to about 30 psi. Wherever the bubbles form, should be where the leak is located. This does have a two year warranty, let me get you over to customer service.

These air helper springs did exactly what we needed. We tow a Jayco Hummingbird trailer (3,750 lbs, 450-500 lb tongue weight) with our 2000 Toyota Landcruiser. Even with a weight distributing hitch the rear end squatted a bit more than I wanted. With the air helper springs installed rear end squat has been completely eliminated. Driving without the trailer feels more firm and connected to the road. The only negative is about the complexity of the installation. On the 2000 Landcruiser it requires that the rear suspension be partially disassembled. That was far more than I could handle at home. It took our neighborhood auto shop 3 hours to complete the job. It took some work by the shop, but it’s finally working as designed. The touting of the air hose from inside the coil spring is through an existing hole in the frame was binding and causing the driver side hose to become kinked. The shop had to enlarge the hole and one that was done there have been no more problems.

2002 Toyota Land Cruiser

I own a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. I tow a few trailers under 4000#. With a coil suspension, the bags prevent the system from bottoming out and helps to offset loads on heavy camping trips. The light trailer doesn't use weight transfer bars but the tongue weight was significant enough to reduce shock travel.

I installed the system myself and it did require that I remove the lower shock mount. On this vehicle, it recommended removing the horizontal alignment bar but that was a mistake as it was extremely difficult to get back in position since I installed one side at a time instead of on a lift.

Routing the hose at the top of the bag, the instructions were a bit vague. The hose locks into the top of the airbag in a fitting but how that hose is kept from being crimped with movement of the airbag within the coil has me concerned. That said, I do have to adjust the pressure from time to time. It would be great to have an onboard compressor for this but I've got one at home to air up before trips then a portable if I need to refill before coming home.

Overall, the bags provide a better ride, even at minimum pressure. Much less bounce. I installed a set of these many years ago in a different vehicle and was also pleased then. I installed this myself and they took about 3 hours because of that horizontal stabilizer but I think they could have been installed in about two if your vehicle isn't rust-encrusted.

So far it’s holding air, but still new; cannot comment yet on durability over a hot summer of towing. Took my Toyota dealer mechanic about 2 hours total with a few interruptions to install. Appears to be a good install on our 2022 Toyota Sequoia TRD Sport. Decided to keep the 2 valves separate for now and not merge 2-into-1 until I see how the suspension behaves with towing. Our 21’11” GD XLS 17MKE probably has a ‘dry’ weight (2 propane bottles, 2 6-volt batts, 1 rooftop solar panel, 1 controller) of about 4800 lbs, and about 5600-5800 wet (water tank not full). My Sequoia weighs right at 6000 lbs.
Driving around with just the Sequoia and no cargo..our mechanic had put 12 psi in the airbags. I was sure I could feel it modestly on the 1:15 drive home, but not severe or anything. Using an accurate low pressure gauge (like that for ATV/UTV tires) I lowered the bags to 9 psi, and drove 4 hrs yesterday (again the truck empty) with highway speeds; I could feel the improvement, it was close to normal. I will try 8 psi this week. Likely will stay at that for day to day driving. Instructions say to always keep 5 psi or more in the bags.
If this website allows for updates..I will once I have towed my loaded trailer at a few different air pressures settings.1289308

After installation we are towing on the level and enjoying the ride. In an effort to maintain the minimum air pressure to each Coil-Rite Helper at all times, we installed individual air supplies to each Helper. We used our onboard Horn-Blaster air compressor to supply two air pressure regulators allowing us to easily change air pressure to each individual helper as desired. Each regulator employs a check-valve to maintain pressure to the Helpers in case of a compressor failure. We have marked each pressure gauge to the minimum pressure and another mark for our desired towing pressure.1543675

The Firestone airbags are very well made and has quality feel. It was not very warm in MN when I installed them so I needed to use lubrication and a heat gun to warm the airbags from a distance so the airbags would be pliable. My gladiator has a Decked drawer system and rear steel bumper installed which caused the rear to squat more than the front. After installing these airbags and learning that I was fluent in “FRENCH” the rear of the truck was raised and squatting issues addressed. The drive was improved as well, less body roll around curves.1739895

I have purchased 3 sets of Coil-Right. The product is very good but the installation instructions were terrible. The first set (2023) I installed per video instructions and it failed. The puck that is placed at the top of the bladder fell of and caused a catastrophic failure. The bladder was punctured and was basically destroyed. The second set (2023) I installed per the video but I enlarged the hole in the puck to help is stay on top of the bladder It failed also. The third set (2024) installed per the new installation instructions which removed the bump stop at the top of the tower. So far they seem to be working better but I think eventually the puck will diappere because there is nothing to hold it inside the spring. Time will tell. This is the only product for my vehicle I can use. 2021 Toyota Sienne LE.1749244

As most have indicated fitting the bags in the springs is the hardest part. one tip I found helpful was once the bag was partially in, force the bottom of the bag with the air tube into the center of the spring then slowly let the air go back into the bag. Once it had some air in it i was able to move it around and get into place. once installed at 20 psi it raised my back end two inched. from 35" to 37" It is now level with the front of the vehicle. my vehicle is a 2015 armada platinum. Yes it has the auto leveling system. But the system wasn't functional. I've used these before in a 2010 armada platinum and it worked out great1750387

Great product. I must say that they were a little tough to install. A very tight fit. Fortunately for me I had the availability of a vacuum pump. With that I was able to evacuate all the air out of the bags which made them flatter, with that, it made it easier to slide them between the coil springs. I tow a small camper trailer, I usually run around 20 psi in the bags. This keeps my vehicle level and adds for a smooth ride. A great product.1715669

I can only give this 3 stars because one of the bags only holds air for about 1-2 days. The other bag stays filled for months. When they are both filled it gives my Pathfinder about 1" of extra lift while towing our travel trailer. So, the trip to the campground is fine but then I have to find an air pump for the trip home or tow with it lower. If they would both stay filled I would give them a 5 star rating. I contacted etrailer support and was told that I had to contact Firestone for warranty support. I have emailed (can't find a phone number on their web site) them twice with no reply.1453030

These things are awesome. Install was a bit tricky with actually getting them inside the spring. Defintely don’t attempt during the colder season as the material is NOT pliable. A bit of soapy water helps if the springs uncompressed still aren’t wide enough to easily work them in. They’ve held up great and provide a decent ride when the vehicle is loaded down. I'll preface with I am an average do it yourselfer. I tried I stalling them on my VW Atlas for almost 3 hours before I just quit. I had to have them professionally installed. The installers said it took two of their people trying to fit the air rites in each spring. After installation they have been fine. My vehicle drops a little when I hook up boat but not a problematic amount. They hold air for quite a while and have not made any noise while traveling. They work as should. Just be prepared to pay for an install in event you cannot get them in.1777598

The bags seem too short for my 2011 Yukon. The bags increase the spring rate but don't provide any lift to level the truck out. The air hose also keeps coming out of the bottom of the bag, I'm not sure if that is also because they are too short. I've tried to keep the min 5psi in the bags when not towing but the hose just pops out and leaks the air out anyway. My best guess is the wrong part number is listed for my vehicle. Pretty disappointed overall.1703501

This system require drilling on even though this item says no drilling is required, the 2021 and newer Toyota Sienna FWD models require drilling. This is direcred in the toyota minivan specific instructions. You have to download the specific instructions for the Sienna that are linked in the description of the item.1579457

They provide support for my Volkswagen Atlas 2022 when towing our travel trailer. Installation wasn't' too challenging other then pushing the bags into the springs. Once I flattened them out and rolled them into a hotdog bun shape with zip ties, went in easy. I also added 90 Degree elbows to avoid kinking the hose if too tight.1590887

Installation was every bit as difficult as other reviews say. I removed the plastic covering the springs, used lubrication, and nearly gave up many times. But in the end, I got them both in place. The only problem I have had have been leaks in the hose caused by my placement. Both times I removed the punctured areas and replaced it with new hose.
As far as function, I have been very happy towing a 1900 lb trailer with my 2012 Toyota RAV4. The air help springs keep the tongue level high enough without sacrificing ride quality.
Overall, I am very happy. I wish they were easier to install!1493236

Installed on a 2016 4Runner in conjunction with a 1-1/2" Daystar coil spring spacer. Since the coil spacer is hollow, I left one segment of the factory bump stop in place to compensate for and match the height of the spacer. I also added a Firestone T-fitting on the airline for a single inflation point and located the inflation valve next to my trailer plug wiring. Quite a pain to wrestle the coil back in place with the added height of the spacer, but that is no fault of the airbags; pry bar proved critical to wedge the coil back in place since I did not try the bottle jack between the frame and axle trick. After nearly a year, no leaks, bags hold air well. I put 25 psi in them for towing our travel trailer, or keep them at 10 psi for normal running around. I have also found them useful to prevent or at least reduce bottoming out the soft rear suspension that happens when off road driving with even just a couple hundred pounds in the back. Even at 25 psi they ride great and you wouldn't know they are back there at 10 psi. Highly recommend for the low cost and added versatility! 459855

These work great for the VW Atlas!! They reduce the rear end sag when pulling a travel trailer or putting the roof tent on and loading all the gear for some overland trail riding and camping!! They are a must for any adventurous Atlas Owner!1508207

Great upgrade for carrying weight in the back or towing a trailer. They are a bit tough to install. I found twisting the bag over in the middle and inserting it between the spring to the trick. Insert the top side on the passenger bag first. Insert the bottom side first on the driver side take care with the week ass tubing because if it folds over on itself in a coil, it will remain pinched which I can see will cause problems in the future. The tubing was better 20 years ago than what they give you today. One tube replacement over $30!! Ridiculous !! I like the right height adjustability and my truck feels more stable with a load of weight in the back of my truck advertised in the video shown below.1696148

Installed on 2020 VW Atlas Cross sport. Jacking up vehicle to let rear wheels hang separates the spring coils. It is not easy to get the bags inside to coils it takes strength. Also make sure the tubing is connected to the bag and threaded thru the hole in the lower control arm before setting the bottom of the bag in place. A little armor all on the spring helps too and also to remove squeak when driving while deflated.1768983
