This is an interior light with fan and power cord. This portable light and fan combination measures 9-31/32" long x 5-5/8" wide x 4-11/64" deep. The white molded plastic housing and durable clear lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. This light and fan unit has been tested and approved by the CSA (Canadian Standards Assoc.) for use in Canada. The light has an easy-to-replace bulb. The portable fixture attaches to any support (such as a bar or rod) up to 3/4" wide by the single plastic pressure clip on the top of the unit or the two plastic pressure clips on the back. The light features separate toggle-button on/off switches for both the light and the fan, and includes a coil power cord with male plug for convenient use from any socket power port. This light is perfect for use in pop-up RV applications.

Today were reviewing part number RVFL51. This is a combination interior light with fan and cord and its made by Optronics for your RV. You can also use it in a popup camper. This is an interior light. It has a molded white plastic housing thats weather resistant. It has a clear plastic housing over the bottom light and that also is weather resistant.
The bulb inside here is incandescent and its very easy to change, and the cord is not long until you pull it out so thats pretty convenient. Its not going to hang real low across your RV. Now lets see how this measures. OK. Im going to measure the length from the top of the top cord to the bottom of the light housing.
Thats 10 inches. The width measured from left to right on the plastic housing is 5 inches. Im going to measure the depth from the top of this back clip to the front surface, and thats 4 inches. Now lets see how this mounts. Today Im going to use a hitch pin.
You can use any rod, pole or support as long as its not more than of an inch in diameter. Now if you want to hang the fan and light, use the top clip, and of course you can slide the fan along wherever you need to place it. If you want to attach this to a vertically mounted rod or support, just pop it on like that. You want to use, get the cord out of the way, you want to use both clips top and bottom. Sorry, top and bottom and of course this will slide along wherever you want to place it also and then it pops right out.
Now Ill show you how this fan and light operate. First of all you need a power source. Today were going to use for our power source part number RVC100 and that is available. Its sold separately. Youll find it at the bottom of this product page. The jack plugs in there. To operate the light, you want to use the right hand toggle. You can see thats pretty bright. It will make a nice reading light or room light. Push the toggle on the fan switch one way for a cool, gentle breeze. Its also very quiet so this is good when youre sleeping. Its not going to disturb you. If you push the toggle switch the other way, you get a strong breeze. I think you can hear that motor, and that will cool off the area, cool you off very quickly. These operate independently of each other so you can use the light by itself or you can use it with the fan. You can use the fan by itself or obviously you can use it with the light. So, its pretty convenient. This has been tested and approved by CSA so its OK to use it in Canada. And, thats about it for part number RVFL51. This is the combination interior light with fan and cord made by Optronics for your RV or popup camper.

This product is fabulous. We bought a camper that was missing these lights so we were not sure what we were looking for and of course we searched on the internet. Ebay and Amazon were way more expensive and I had never heard of Etrailers so I felt like I was taking a chance but for the price I figured it was worth the risk since I needed 2 lights and on the other websites what 1 would have cost is what I paid for 2 so it was worth the risk. The email communication about my order was great and informative and the shipping was really fast. When I plugged in both lights I was amazed. They were not only awesome but really rugged and well designed and the lights were bright and fans were strong. I give the product 5 stars and the company Etrailers 5 stars and shipping and packaging was also 5 stars. We will definately be regulars customers. Product appears to be decent quality, nice power cord and the clamps for hanging it are solid. When using the two clamps on the back, they hold on to the bar tight enough that you can angle the fan and it will stay put. I was nervous about ordering this fan as it's pretty small and I worried the fan wouldn't be powerful enough. I was happily surprised when I plugged it in. The "low" setting is what I was hoping to get out of the high setting and the "high" was very powerful for such a small fan. These will for sure move plenty of air around in my pop camper bunks. Being that powerful, they do make some noise but you can't have it both ways, if it's going to move some air it's going to make some wind noise. One thing I wish they included is a power draw rating. I'm hoping to use these when dry camping using solar to recharge batteries during the day and every amp counts. I can figure it out over time but that would have been nice to know before ordering. The light bulbs appear to be standard wedge type, the same as the overhead lights in our pop up camper so I might replace the bulbs with LED to cut down on power draw and heat but only if I find we want to use the light function a lot.76007

Seems to be identical to the original ones that came with my Coleman popup except the clips are plastic instead of metal and are easier to snap on to the support poles. We received our light/fan on the day we left for our camping trip. We loved having them! It made sleeping comfortable and provided white noise. The two speed fan is so nice. All previous reviews are right on. This is a great product at a great price. The plastic clips seem like they will break over time because they snap on hard but it looks like metal ones could be added on easily enough if needed in the future. That seems to be the only minor negative. Overall these are worth the purchase and etrailer is a great company to order from. They keep you informed on your status every step of the way.21273
