Today on our 2011 Nissan Murano we're doing a test fit of the ROLA TX-104 hanging-style 4-bike rack. That part number is 59401. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have three straps altogether, two over the top portion on our frame and one back here as our anti-sway strap. We're going to pull our bike off and set it off to the side.

Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Nissan Murano

Today on our 2011 Nissan Murano, we are going to be test fitting the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Rack for 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, part number S63410. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of our rack into our hitch. Once you have the shank in, we'll go ahead and you want to line up the hitch pin holes. We'll take the included anti rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. After getting it hand tight, you want to take your wrench and tighten it down the rest of the way. This will help take any extra play out of the shank in the rack which helps to eliminate movement of the bike going down the road overall.



Yakima FullTilt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Nissan Murano

Today on our 2011 Nissan Mirano, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima full tilt 4-bike rack for 1 1/4 and 2-inch hitches, part number Y02462. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. It helps to guide in the anti-rattle device just so it doesn't get bound up. You also notice this has a self locking hitch pin. You want to push that in until it goes into the second hole. We can then go to the base of the rack here and tighten down the anti-rattle device.



Yakima StickUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Nissan Murano

Today on our 2011 Nissan Murano, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Stickup 2 bike platform style rack for inch and 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, part number Y02420. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch on our vehicle. You'll want to watch for the hitch pinholes to line up. With that in line you can go ahead and take the included threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. Once you have that hand tight, you can then finish it off with your wrench. Tightening down the anti-rattle bolt is going to help to take any extra movement out of the shank of the rack, which will help to eliminate movement overall going down the road. As you can see, we're nice and tight.



Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Nissan Murano

Today, on our 2011 Nissan Murano, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero 2-bike rack for 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitches, part number TH9042. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of our rack into our hitch. You'll want to pull the pin out. That way it can slide in, and then the self-locking pin locks it into place. We'll then tighten down our anti-rattle device. This will help take any extra play out of the shank of the rack, helping to eliminate movement overall.



Thule Vertex Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Nissan Murano

Today on our 2011 Nissan Murano, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4-Bike rack for 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches - Part Number TH9029. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of our rack into our hitch. You'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. Once you have those in line, you can go ahead and insert the hitch pin bolt. Go ahead and get this hand tight and then we can finish it off with a wrench. Tightening this down will help to take any extra play out of the shank of the rack, which helps to eliminate movement overall going down the road. As you can see, we're nice and tight there. The closest point of the rack to the vehicle is going to be here at the base.
