Review of the Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2010 Scion xB

Today on our 2010 Scion XB, well be test fitting the Curt 20 x 48 cargo carrier for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number c18145. Now weve removed the adapter for the two inch hitches so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well simply slide our cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements, from the closet point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is three inches and the cargo carrier will add an additional 22-1/2 inches of overall length to the vehicle. Our ground clearance at the back of the cargo carrier is 11 inches and the exhaust on this vehicle does exit the passenger side here at the rear bumper, it is approximately 7-1/2 inches from the cargo carrier platform, but the platform does sit slightly higher than the exhaust.

Now this cargo carrier leaves 16-1/2 inches of height while still being able to open the cargo door and that does it for our test fit of the Curt 20 x 48 cargo carrier for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number c18145 on our 2010 Scion XB.
