This is the 3rd hitch that I have purchased from etrailer and every transaction has been excellent. The team is extremely quick in processing orders and their pricing and customer service are going to be hard to beat. They provide very detailed instructions to make sure the installation process goes as smoothly as possible. The only I did differently was to thread a bolt into every bolt hole and then back it out at the beginning to ensure I would not run into any issues when I actually had the hitch in position ready to install.

I used the trailer hitch on my 2019 Acura MDX to transport 2 bicycles from New England to Florida and back. I had no issues plus the hitch does not stick out from rear bumper it’s flush. No problems with opening rear hatch when bikes are on the bike rack

Easy to install! Works well used it same day it came in. Only issues is shipping. Don't know if packaging failed or UPS threw it around, nothing was damaged but it looked like it fault for its life.

Bolted in ok looks good. Tucked right in behind rear bumper, drops below and behind bumper so you won’t catch a shin with receiver. Will be testing it out this weekend. My only issues are with how it is shipped I guess. The box was destroyed. Glad none of the hardware went missing.

This has been a great addition to our Honda pilot.
Install was as easy as it could be. The bolt holes lined up perfectly, and ive pulled over 4,000 lbs through the mountains with this hitch receiver.
Very hardy constructed trailer hitch. I use it to mount a wheelchair carrier that I have used to haul large tools like floor standing drill press, full size band saws, 10 bags of mulch, large loads of lumber, etc. The hitch easily supports anything I choose to haul including many trips from Indiana to south Florida.
Simple installation. The box was torn up when delivered but the hitch was in great condition and all of the hardware was safe and secure inside.

A year later, the hitch receiver has been everything I expected. We’ve used it to haul 2-4 bikes several times and will use it to haul a luggage carrier soon. We are very pleased with the purchase.
I did go online and I looked up various tow hinges for my Acura MDX 2020 with different companies out there and I came across etrailer products and services and the video detail in which they had the product I was interested for my vehicle really nailed it for me. The demonstration was awesome. I quickly called their toll free number and I spoke to Joshua B with the sales department and he took he's time to assist me in purchasing the product I needed for my vehicle. Joshua was great a great sales representative. He assured me if I needed anything else regarding their products in the future I could reach out to him and he willing to assist me with any concerns or questions at anytime. I did receive the product less than 72 hours which I was surprised/pleased with their quick delivery service. So far I'm really impressed with how the tow hinge looks on the vehicle after installation. I recommend anyone who's looking for any products for their vehicle to use etailer service. My installation professional even mentioned etrailer has great products.
This hitch is really burly, and installation was a snap, expecially with the helpful videos. Just 6 bolts and boom you're hauling! Fits like it came from the factory. It does hang down below the bumber a few inches, and my son bottomed it out backing down a steep driveway dip the first day. But now he knows to watch out for that. Great purchase experience, will definitely buy from etrailer again and recommend them.
This is the fifth hitch I have bought and installed from etrailer, all have fit as promised and all have performed excellently!

Well, I don't have a lift like in the video but was still able to do the install in my driveway with ease by myself. You definitely what to clean out the nutserts in the frame so that the bolts go in easier. Drop the spare too just to make it easier as well. Balanced it on a small floor jack with some wood, raised it up to start the bolts hand tight. Dropped the jack out. Aligned it with frame and finished tightening the bolts. Sorry, but I didn't have a big fancy torque wrench either, but I can go back under and make sure everything stayed nice and tight. Don't forget to put your spare back!
Although not as easily installed (well by me) the product hitch fits perfectly and great quality. A friend shared your website with me so I proceeded to purchase. Not a single regret. The shipping and delivery was way more than I expected, faster than Amazon lol.

still in perfect condition, no rust or even paint failure. This is a strong quality product, that was easy to install, and continues to perform flawlessly.
I'm very pleased with this Trailer Hitch Receiver. I had a local shop install it on my 2019 Honda Pilot.
I installed it in about an hour. The threaded holes on the vehicle were cleaned out with a tap (surface rust). Fit perfectly. Haven't used it yet, but looks good.

Bolt on plates had perfect alignment and installed fairly easily. If you included one extra bolt that was twice as long to use as a temporary bolt to hold up the first side, it would be easier to install.
Just as they advertise, high quality, nice finish, perfect fit, prompt shipping, etc.
Easy installation. I’ve done 4 different installations from etrailer and this one and the Durango have been the easiest. But the wiring kit for the Pilot was easier and put it over the Durango. The Subaru Forester was the worst due to drilling and fighting the exhaust.
Not too damaged in shipment had spray a couple spots but no big deal.the hitch was easy to install by myself using a floor jack to raise hitch into place. I would recommend the hitch to anyone.

Fit perfectly to my 2019 Honda Pilot. Easy install but diffently takes two people for installation.
The service you receive is as great as the product, this is my second trailer hitch and wiring harness that I've ordered. Came back to Etrailer because I was so happy with the first.
This trailer hitch is top quality. It fit my Pilot perfectly and installed in under an hour with simple tools. The instructions were clear, and the finish feels durable. I’ve used it several times—rock-solid. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable hitch.
This hitch was a perfect fit for our 2019 Acura MDX hybrid. Although the MDX hybrid is not rated for towing, it is already prepped to receive a hitch. We won't be towing anything, but installed this to carry our bikes. Therefore didn't need the harness for lights and brake controllers.
This was a simple install and all parts and instructions were included. Our MDX is essentially new, so the mounting nuts, which are factory install and pre-welded to the frame, needed no cleaning. If dirty, a simply wire brush and a few spritzes of water should clean those out. Overall, it took about 10 minutes to unpack and install. My 16yo son and I picked a side, slid under the car, supported the hitch (about 50 lbs.) on our knees and screwed in the bolts. Once torqued to spec, the hitch was rock solid.
Overall, this seems to be an excellent product, perfect for our limited needs.

After a year, the hitch continues to do exactly what its supposed to, provide a secure means to attach our bike rack to our SUV. The Acura MDX hybrid is not rated for towing, but there are no restrictions limiting the use of a hitch mounted bike rack. In fact, all mounting points are provided. Accordingly, we installed the hitch as described in my prior review without any difficulty. After a year of regular use, it remains rock solid. No hesitation recommending this hitch.
