The hitches for your 2018 Honda Pilot, such as the etrailer # e98840, will only fit if your spare tire is 18" or smaller. If so, I recommend the etrailer hitch, which has a 2" receiver and will not require any drilling to install.

To add a wiring harness to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # 118760 to add a 4-way if you do not have the factory tow package on your '18 Pilot, or Wiring Harness # 118286 to add a 7-way if you do have the factory tow package. I've added links to video reviews and installs of these harnesses for you to check out as well.

If you are going to be towing, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise. Of those two options I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118760 for your 2018 Honda Pilot because it has the higher amp capacity and because we have found Tekonsha to be extremely reliable. This will work well with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75225 that will fit so long as you don't have a full size spare.
