Was wondering if there are any other safety features we could add. My hand slipped while bringing down the stairs and they fell on my head and neck. Required a few stitches and I had a huge black eye. Luckily no concussion, but could have been more injured then I was. Also I have fallen between the top and middle stair twice as my foot slipped off or they are spaced too far apart. I am short and have a smaller foot, but was wondering what other safety measures we could take as I love the stairs but so far I have had 3 major injuries with them. Thank you. We bought our stairs in 2021 but are the same model advertised.

There are other versions of the MORryde StepAbove RV steps that come with a strut assist to make lift and lowering the steps almost weightless and more controlled so that you don't have them come down on top of you. I've listed the options we carry below by their door width and entry height ranges:
23-3/4" to 24-1/4" Wide Doorways x 31-1/2" - 37-1/2" Entry Height # MR45RR
27-3/4" to 28-1/4" Wide Doorways x 31-1/2" - 37-1/2" Entry Height # MR65RR
27-3/4" to 28-1/4" Wide Doorways x 36-1/2" - 42-1/2" Entry Height # MR85RR
To help going up and down the steps I recommend installing the MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail # MR54BR. This railing extends out 42-1/2" from the wall of the RV for sturdy grip point to help you up and down the steps.
