Recommended 7-Way and Brake Controller for a 2008 Ford E-350 Cargo Van
Question:
I have a 2008 Ford E350 extended cargo van that I need to install a 7 way harness kit on and a brake controller. I’m not sure exactly what I will need to accomplish that. I will also need a 4 pin adapter. Can you help me? Thank you!

I would be happy to help you and we have all the parts you will need to add a 7-Way and 4-Way connector plus a brake controller to your 2008 Ford E-350 Cargo Van.
Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118551. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights.
The second harness you will need is the Universal Installation Kit item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
For your 2008 Ford E350, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR. This proportional brake controller has a unique installation method where you can mount the control knob on your dash or console and hide the main unit out of sight.
You will also need the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED69FR to complete your installation.
I have linked a couple of installation videos below.
