Can Roadmaster Quiet Hitch be Installed with the U-Bolt on Underside of Ball Mount

Question:
2015 Ford Explorer with factory tow package. The factory hitch does not have clearance for the Quiet Hitch to mount with the bar and nuts on the top. However, it will fit with the bar and nuts on the bottom. My trailer has 250# to 300# tongue weight. Will the Quiet hitch work properly in this configuration?

Installing the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # RM-061, with the U-Bolt around the underside of the hitch receiver would not present a problem. You will just need to make sure there is room at the top of the receiver to tighten the nuts and lock nuts on the U-Bolt.
