I've linked you to the installation instruction for the Rampage LED Tailgate Light Bar.

The light bar features a 4-pole flat trailer connector that would plug into the existing 4 pole trailer connector on the vehicle. The wiring harness has an extras wire on it that would tap into the reverse light circuit on the vehicle. If your vehicle doesn't have a 4-pole trailer connector, you could remove the 4-pole connector and wire the light bar directly into your taillight circuits. The procedure for this would depend on the year, make and model of the vehicle.
