Question:
Im trying to find a towing battery disconnect switch instead of removing the cable from the battery post. Will the RM 765 work on my Jeep Wrangler 2009, 3.8L with automatic and if so were is the most common spot to mount the solenoid and switch? Also are these very dependable? thanks

Expert Reply:
The most common place that they are mounted is on the fender or on the firewall, depending on battery location. The heavy gauge wire leads for the battery are long enough to allow flexibility as far as mounting location. It is not an extremely complex operation, and the simpler the operation, the less problems. We have not heard of any problems with the units we sold so far.
