How Does the Replacement Fan Switch for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents # BV0199-02 Wire

Question:
The push button switch I am replacing has 2 black wires. One is spliced to a black wire that goes to the fan motor. The other is spliced to a yellow and to the coach through the ceiling. The new rocker switch has 2 black wires too but doesnt have instructions on where they connect.

Based on the picture you submitted (which was very helpful), it looks like you are replacing the part # BV0199-02 in your Ventline Ventadome roof vent.
Since all that switch does is interrupt current it doesn't matter which wire gets run to each black wire of the switch. Either one can get run to the yellow wire and the other to the black wire.
