Question:
I see that the recommended hitch for the F Sport model is a Curt C13143. Would you know if any modifications to exhaust or suspension, i.e. sway bar is required to install? Also the subject F Sport does not have a tow package, is there an approved/tested wiring harness / tow converter at this time for this vehicle? Thank you

When installing the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13143 on a 2015 Lexus RX 350 F Sport, there are no exhaust modifications required. However, there is a rear support or sway bar that needs to be removed and relocated by attaching it to the hitch. The fascia under the bumper will also need to be trimmed, as shown in the photo I've attached at the right.
For wiring, you'll need part # 56083. I'd recommend watching the video I've linked to, to see if your vehicle has the plug under the back bumper near the driver's side. Remove the protective plug and use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to test the pins on the plug while a helper activates the right turn, left turn, running lights and brakes to see if the plug is active. Also compare the pin-out of the plug to that of the 56083, to see if it visually matches. If the plug isn't active, you'll need relays or fuses from your Lexus dealer to activate the tow package.
