Question:
I am buying a new travel trailer with a 700 lb tongue weight. I read where another person had to add helper springs to tow his trailer. I use a weight distribution hitch when towing my current trailer with a 400 lb tongue weight without any problems. What would be the best enhancement for the rear suspension?

The suspension enhancement is best used for loads carried in the vehicle/truck bed and weight distribution is the better option for sag caused by towing a trailer. If these are used together the two systems can work against each other and you wouldn't get the full benefits of either.
To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
I recommend Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control # RP66083 (400-800 pound tongue weight) or if more weight will be added Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control # RP66084.
You will need # A-90 for a 2-inch ball or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
I have included some links for you as well.
