Question:
I have a 2005 Suburban Z71 and a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller. What harness and bracket do I need? I noticed you have two different harnesses for my Suburban. Thanks

The wiring harness that you will want for your Prodigy brake controller and your 2005 Chevrolet Suburban Z71 is part # 3015-P. For a mounting bracket, you can use part # P7685. You can also use part # 7686, if you plan on removing the brake controller from the truck frequently.
I have attached an installation video of the Prodigy on a 2004 Suburban for you to check out. The installation will be the same on your 2005 model. The factory brake controller port is located under the driver's side dash to the left of the brake pedal. There will be a black plastic cover over the port.
