Can Optronics LED Rectangular Taillight Be Rotated 180 Degrees and Used on Drivers Side of Trailer

Re: LED stop/turn/tail trailer lights. I dont need a licence plate lamp. Can I buy two Optronics STL16RB and turn one 180 degrees to make a set?

I didn't see a problem, so I contacted Optronics for their input. My Optronics representative tells me that there's no reason why you can't use the # STL16RB on the driver's side of the trailer, flipped upside down.
