Can the CE17920 fender be bolted on instead of welded. Is the back lip wide enough to drill

The lip at the rear of the # CE17900G fender is just under an inch wide, so it could be drilled and bolted, but you might find the task easier if you used part # HP36VR. The fender back will stiffen the fender, and provide much more surface for securely bolting it to the trailer.
