Will I be able to remove the towing mirror, after trips, for storing?

Absolutely! The slip on towing mirrors # CTM1600 are meant to be put on when needed and removed when you don't. I have included a link to a video to the right that shows how the mirrors install on a similar vehicle as your 2010 Chevy Silverado.
