Question:

What does excluding driving lights mean for the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms for 1995 Nissan Altima? Thank you.

If your 1995 Nissan Altima has the factory installed driving lights in the front bumper, Roadmaster states that the # 310-3 is not a fit. It MIGHT be possible to remove the OEM driving light assemblies so the base plates will fit, but this has not been tested, so we cannot say with any certainty that it would work. However, it should be noted, that #310-3 is no longer available.

You'll need to check with your owners manual or with Nissan to determine if your vehicle is capable of being safely flat-towed. In addition to the base plates, you'll also need a tow bar, safety cables, a lighting solution so the taillights of the towed vehicle operate along with those of the RV and a supplemental braking system, as mandated by law in most areas.

The Roadmaster Falcon # RM-520 is one of our most popular tow bars, because of how easy to use it is. The arms will self-adjust and automatically lock, which means your car doesn't need to be perfectly lined up behind the coach in order to hook up the tow bar. Use # RM-645 for safety cables. For lighting, I'd recommend a magnetic mount tow light for ease of installation. Custer offers a wireless light kit, part # LIW-LDTL.The Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400 offers simple setup and operation and easy portability.

I've linked you to some helpful articles about flat towing.
