Instructions for Removing Factory Side Mirror on a 2007 Ford F-150
Published 08/13/2014 >
Question:
Is there an on line installation manual I can reference before I purchase these mirrors? I have a 2007 F150. The OEM mirrors do not have rurn signals. However, Ive been told the wiring is there for turn signals. I would like to remove one of the OEM mirrors and check before I buy. Thus, I was hoping there was an installation manual describing the OEM mirroe removal steps. Ive bought a number of items from you and the instructions have always been great.

I was able to find several videos that show exactly how to remove and reinstall a side mirror on a 2007 Ford F-150. I did a google search for replacing side mirror on a 2007 Ford F-150. Several videos will come up that will help a lot.
Basically you have to take the whole inside of the door off. Two screws at the bottom, 2 bolts behind the little panel behind the handle, the handle gets pulled out a little, the cover that has the switches on it, the switches, a bolt under that panel after it gets removed, the speaker cover, speaker, plastic trim piece, and plastic nuts in that same area, and additional fasteners behind the speaker. Then you can lift up and pull off the interior door panel. The mirror is held on with 3 fasteners. Reverse the process to reinstall.
