No power to New Trailer Brake Controller Install on a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic

Question:

I bought a 51110 and a custom harness 51352. Plugged it into power dist. socket under dash, second from left. No power to controller. Do I have to connect anything under the hood at the fuse block to power it ? There is a post on the right side closest to the driver and a unterminated blue wire nearby. Other post has a ring connecter attached. 7 way brake lights, turn signal work to the trailer. Not sure if Im getting power to the brakes. Please help. Thanks.

You will likely have to make at least one connection under the hood of your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic to power the brake controller. You may also need a fuse. I have included a link to the right that shows the connections that you will need to make under the hood to make everything fully functional.
