Parts Needed to Install 6 Lug 7k Timbren Axle Less Kit on Pike Off Road Trailer

Published 11/05/2026

Question:

I currently have a Pike Offroad 1902 trailer with the Timbren 3500 pound axles. I am looking to upgrade to the 7000 pound axles with electric brakes. They would need the Lexus/toyota 6 lug pattern as well. Could y’all put a couple options together for me? Looking to purchase this combo in the next month. Thank you. I appreciate it.

Hey Casey, since you have an offroad trailer the best option for a Timbren Axle Less setup would be the part # TASR7KS01 as the only other option we have has a drop built into it which would not be ideal for an offroad trailer. Then for a hub/drum that fits the spindles of this kit that has the 6 lug bolt pattern you are looking for you would want the part # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K. Then for brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-7-SA and you'd be set. What made you want to double the axle capacity of the trailer?

I’ve added some batteries, 48 gallons of water, 800 watts of solar. Miscellaneous other stuff. Would just feel more comfortable with the 7000 and brakes.

@CaseyT that makes sense! Yeah I think the 7k kit will be a good move for sure.
