Why Don't They Make Trailer-Side Trailer Wiring Connector Covers

does anyone make a cover for the 4 way plug on the trailer when not connected to the vehicle?

Covers aren't available for the male side of the round 4-ways like the part # PK11409 because a cover would hold moisture in which would cause corrosion.
The vehicle side of trailer connectors often will have covers, but this is due to the fact that the connector is on a vehicle that will get driven in rainy conditions and otherwise would pick up road grime when not in use. When a trailer side connector isn't in use it is because the trailer is parked therefore a cover wouldn't be needed.
