Question:

Hello, the Kenda Karrier KR53 ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13 Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 states the speed rating is “N”, but the tire alone shows a speed rating of “M”. What is the difference? The images of the tore do show a different rating for each.

Hey Dash, thanks for reaching out! I actually went out to our warehouse and checked our stock to confirm this for you. The Kenda Karrier KR53 ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Silver Mod Wheel # KE35EV does come with an N speed rating (87 mph), so the information on our product page is correct.

The tire you're seeing with the M speed rating (81 mph) is likely the Kenda Karrier KR35 ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # KE48KV. Both tires are the same size, but they're different models with slightly different tread designs.

What kind of trailer are you planning on putting these tires on?
