Good morning, We are trying to figure out why this wont work on an F-250? If the picture in the item descriptions shows that model?

Hi Travis,

I can see why that is confusing since there's a photo of the rack on a Ford. The Ford truck in that photo has the ladder rack installed but not the over-the-cab cantilever. It's possible the ladder rack itself is a fit for the truck bed, but the cantilever in the Thule TracRac TracONE part # TH27000XT-EX is what makes it unusable for a 2023 Ford F-250. The 2023 F-250 has a very tall cab and the over-the-cab cantilever doesn't have enough clearance when installed on it. If there's strong winds or large cargo it can flex down and hit the top of the truck's cab and damage it.

We do have other ladder racks with over-the-cab options that are sturdier and can handle any flexing at a higher height. Something like the Buyer's Products Over-The-Cab Ladder Rack part # 3371501400 would be a good option. It has the same 800lb capacity, holds cargo up to 134" long, and installs without any drilling necessary.
