Question:

I bought a 2027 Ram 3500 with an 8-foot bed but no factory gooseneck prep. I still haul lumber and other materials in the bed during the week. Which gooseneck hitch fits, and can I store the ball out of the way?

Hey Robin! I also have a gooseneck trailer with a 7-way plug, but my Ram's connector is down by the bumper. Is there a way to add a 7-way inside the bed without losing the factory connection at the bumper?

@Kevin you're welcome! One other thing I recommend is the Curt In-Bed 7-Way # C53CR. This gives you a trailer wiring connection inside the bed, so you won't have to run the gooseneck trailer's plug over the tailgate to reach the bumper. It plugs into your factory wiring and keeps the bumper 7-way functional.
