I have a Curt CME-D253068 brake controller that I used in a Chevy Trailblazer and the plug doesn’t match my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. Is there an adapter that would match up or do I need a new brake controller?

Thanks for letting us help Ken. The CME-D253068 Curt part number you referenced appears to be an inventory or stock number associated with the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C36GV. For your 2010 Ram 1500, you'll want the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51438. This adapter allows you to connect your Curt brake controller directly to the factory brake controller port on your truck, making installation much easier without having to splice into the vehicle's wiring.
