Best Trailer Hitch for 2027/2028 Jeep Wrangler

next year I am going to get a new Wrangler does this hitch fit?

Hey Robbie, yes the etrailer hitch part # e98856 that you referenced is a fit for the 2027 and 2028 Jeep Wranglers so it will be the correct hitch for the new Wrangler you pick up next year! Are you planning on doing some towing?

Works great on my 2022 Wrangler Unlimited. Quite easy to install. I recently pulled a loaded U-Haul trailer across country and it handled the load just fine.

Works great on my 2021 JLU-installed it 2 years ago. I did have to purchase some short sockets because it's a tight fit behind the bumper. My primary use of the hitch is for bike racks (Velocirax 5 = amazing). I ended up getting the hitch adapter, to allow some access to the back with the rack installed.

This is a great hitch and easy to install, but there is one caveat - IF you are going to use the OEM Mopar wiring harness, it will not fit next to this hitch. You will need another hitch with a shorter lateral profile. Aftermarket wiring harness should work just fine.
