Can Nylatron Bushings Be Replaced With Bronze Bushings

Can I remove the nylatron bushing and install a brass bushing? This part says it is for 1 3/4” springs. With the nylatron bushings in it measures 2” in width.

Hey Tim, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can remove the Nylatron from the # DX44VC equalizer and replace them with bronze bushings. A Standard 1-3/4" bushing like part # K71-291-00 is what you'll need for that. That is the standard size for leaf spring suspension.
