Question:
I am looking to add a 10” disc brake system to my 2006 tandem 18’ Boat Master trailer on which I tow a 21” Outrage Boston Whaler. The trailer once had brakes but no longer. Only the 4 bolt backing plate remains. A label on the trailer references the very bearing/race part numbers as your DeeMaxx DE66YR Hub/Rotor kit which I am considering using. I am also looking to add the DeeMaxx DE57SR tandem brake line kit. I also have a newly purchased disc brake 2” ball hydraulic surge actuator. Hoping for a response to confirm my product ions for my trailer. I also have images to share if needed. Thank you, Jaime M.

Hey Jaime! It sounds like you have everything matched up correctly. Since the bearing and race numbers on your trailer match the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE66YR, and you have the 4-bolt brake mounting flange, this kit will work for adding brakes back to your Boat Master trailer. You'll need two # DE66YR kits since each kit is designed for one axle.
The DeeMaxx Tandem Brake Line Kit # DE57SR is also the right choice for running the hydraulic lines to both axles, and your new disc brake hydraulic surge actuator will complete the setup.
Where are you headed next with your boat?
