Hello Jerry, cool car! I see you were looking at the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE42FR. This is a disc brake kit intended for a trailer with a standard 3,500 lb axle. It has slip-on rotors that will work with an idler hub for a 3,500 lb axle like part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K.

The kit includes rotors, calipers, caliper brackets and brake pads. This is typically not something we recommend for motor vehicles. These parts are designed for non-turning, non-driving trailer axles. I have heard of people using certain trailer parts for old cars, so it might be something you can use, just know it is not designed for it.

Is this what you were looking for? Are there any other parts you are needing?

Hi Jesse, I was hoping that you may have a solution for my 1969 AMC Rambler. Since parts are hard to find for the car to adapt hubs spindles and brakes and rotors. The are a 9 inch bendex drum brake that is on the front of the car. The curb weight of the Rambler is 2811lbs. If that helps. Anyway I just thought you may have something for that vehicle. Thanks, Jerry

@Jerry Its possible our disc brake kit could work for that, but we would not offer anything specifically fitted for that kind of application. Its not something we have ever tested either so I'm afraid I can't give you a firm answer there. The # DE42FR disc brake kit is a 10" rotor so you will want to make sure you have room for that and that the other parts would bolt up without any interference or obstructions. The rotors are 3,500 lb so they are rated for more than your curb weight which is good. Also make sure your wheels are the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
