Availability of Mounting Frame for Furrion Chill Cube Low-Profile

Updated 10/08/2026 | Published 10/07/2026

Question:

I am ordering the Furrion 15K Chill Cube Low Profile A/C. My roof is only 1.75inch thick. I am ordering the FACR15LPVS-PS-AM Chill Cube and the non-ducted FACT11QV3-PS-AM ADB for my installation on your web site. However, I cannot find the required C-FACR12SA-A03 mounting frame required for my 1.75inch roof thickness installation. Is it available through etrailer?

Hey Bon! We do have all of the components you need for this setup, they're just listed under different part numbers than the Furrion numbers you're using.

For the non-ducted 15K low-profile Chill Cube with heat pump, we have the white # FR22TF or black # FR82TF. You'll also need the low-profile Air Distribution Box # FR38BC, which includes the remote. The mounting frame you're looking for is the Mounting Frame for Furrion Chill Cube Low-Profile Air Distribution Box # FR34FY.

What kind of RV/trailer are you installing the new Chill Cube on?

I'm swapping out a Dometic Penguin II for the low profile Furrion Chill Cube 15K BTU unit in our Airstream Nest. The entire reason is that the Dometic unit is unbearably loud. The only settings seem to be bad and worse. I will likely be running the Furrion at "gear" 50 most all the time due to our small camper. I wish Furrion would make this same spec unit in a 13.5!

@Bon I think you're going to be really happy with the Chill Cube in the Nest, especially coming from the Penguin II. Being able to run it at the 50% gear setting should be a great fit for a camper that size. With the variable speed the 15k or even the 18k standard Chill Cube wouldn't be overkill or cause constant cycling. Furrion does have a 13.5K variable-speed Chill Cube in their newer lineup, but unfortunately it isn't a low-profile unit and I'm not entirely sure when it will finally be released for aftermarket sale.
