Hey Kirby, thanks for reaching out. The Ventline Replacement Dome # BVD0449-A01 does not require any new mounting hardware. It uses the existing hinge on the roof vent and basically slides/snaps onto that hinge, then the existing lift-arm assembly gets reattached using the two screws already on your vent. A Phillips screwdriver is all you need for the swap.
If your existing lift-arm screws or operator are missing or damaged, the replacement operator, knob, and screw assembly is # BVD0462-00. Otherwise, the dome itself installs using the hardware already on the Ventadome.

Easy to do. Just be careful with any of the old plastic trim. Mine was all really super brittle due to sun exposure. I ended up replacing an inner sleeve thing around the screen too.

I experienced the same with the installation. Very simple. I also replaced the sleeve on one of mine and I replaced the screen on two of mine, very simple.

I actually never installed it because we bought a new camper and sold the one I bought the vent dome for. I gave it to the new owner. Installation looked to be pretty straightforward, I didn’t get to it.
