Hi Chris, thanks for reaching out, and I hope you have a great weekend as well!

Sadly, the Atwood GCH6A-10E water heater is no longer in production, and even its replacement model has been discontinued, so finding one is becoming increasingly difficult. Rather than put you through the hassle of tracking down hard-to-find parts, I recommend considering the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater part # FR98SR.

The Furrion is about 3-3/16 inches narrower, 1/8 inch taller, and 1 3/16 inches deeper than your existing Atwood. The good news is that the Furrion comes with a 16-1/8 inch by 16-1/8 inch access door, which should cover the extra space left by the narrower unit. You'll just want to make sure you have enough clearance for the additional depth and height. You may need to slightly modify your existing space.

The Furrion provides more than 19 gallons of hot water per hour, with a heating capacity of 13,000 to 60,000 BTUs, so you'll have hot water on demand without waiting for a tank to reheat. It also features Furrion's Vortex system, which mixes hot and cold water to help minimize temperature fluctuations, along with dual temperature sensors that automatically shut the unit off if the water gets too hot.

I know replacing a water heater isn't always the project you had in mind, but with Atwood parts becoming harder to find, a new unit may save you some frustration down the road. What rig are you fixing up?
