Looking For Replacement Hubs And Bearings For Floe Snowmobile Trailer
Updated 10/05/2026 | Published 10/01/2026 >
Question:
Good morning looking to see if you can help me find a full hub set up with bearings for this specific trailer. I can’t seem to find out exactly what size these hubs are and what bearings to use. Thank you.

Hey Brady, thanks for reaching out. We should have a hub and bearings for you, but there is no way to know exactly what you'll need just by looking at the trailer. At that point I'd just be guessing. There are a few good ways to narrow down what you'll need though.
Start by checking your axle tube and seeing if there is a tag or sticker that shows the axle weight capacity. That won't tell us exactly what hub you'll need, but it will help narrow it down.
Next, see if you can find a casting number on the hub. It looks like your trailer uses idler hub, and those should have a number cast on the back of the hub. You might have to clean them up a bit to make out the number but its worth a shot.
If that fails, you'll need to pull the hub and remove the bearings. If you can make out the number stamped on each bearing, great. Otherwise you'll need to use a micrometer and measure the ID of each bearing.
Get me that info when you get a chance and I'm happy to look into it and see if we have the hubs you need.
What year was this trailer made?

Jesse’s reply is right on target, my boat trailer had no readable numbers on any parts, axle stamp or tag was missing so I had to use a micrometer to measure everything inside of hubs axle and bearings and with Etrailer's help was able to get the right bearings and seals and they fit perfectly.

If I were you, I would remove the tires, hub and examine the axle spindle and all parts thoroughly. Looks pretty rusty to me, even the studs for the tire rims are suspect. The bearings have numbers on them and that's what I usually go by. All pretty easy to do. Good Luck.
