Question:
I’m looking to add some jacks to the rear of a 31’ flatbed with a dovetail ramp, for stabilizing when loading heavy equipment. Would this work or is there a better option?

Welcome back, Eric!
The etrailer Square Direct Weld Trailer Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Topwind - 15-1/4" Lift - 7,000 lbs # TJD-7000 can definitely be attached to a 31' flatbed with a dovetail ramp. It will of course need to be welded on, but as long as you have the space for it, that will not be a problem at all.
That said, I think if I were doing this, the etrailer Square Direct Weld Trailer Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Sidewind - 15-3/8" Lift - 7,000 lbs # TJD-7000S would be the jack of my choice. The sidewind crank just kind of makes more sense in my mind. It is more expensive though, so that's a downside in its case.
What kind of equipment are you carrying on it?
