Availability Of Replacement Inner Slide For UFP A-160 Brake Actuator

Question:
Hello, I am looking for a replacement bolt-on inner slide for a UFP A-160 brake actuator. The original UFP part number is 19050B. I found your Dexter Model 10 Bolt-On Inner Slide with Leveler Channel, Part No. T4721700. Could you please confirm whether T4721700 can be used as a replacement for the UFP A-160 / 19050B inner slide, or whether you can supply another compatible inner slide? I only need the inner slide/channel, not the coupler. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Stefan

Hey Stefan, thanks for reaching out. The Dexter/Titan Model 10 Inner Slide # T4721700 is not a replacement for the UFP A-160 inner slide. The # T4721700 is specifically designed for a Dexter Model 10 actuator, while your UFP A-160 uses a completely different actuator housing and slide design.
Your original UFP 19050B was the bolt-on inner slide with coupler, and Dexter’s A-160 parts breakdown confirms that number. Unfortunately, we do not carry a current replacement bare inner slide/channel for the A-160 that lets you reuse your existing coupler. So, unless you can find one old stock somewhere, your best option will be to replace the coupler entirely.
