Question:

I am trying to find a replacement shackle for our 2022 Keystone Cougar 316RLS. I believe the current shackles measure 3 1/4inch from eye to eye see attached pictures. I would actually like to find a complete wet bolt kit that has the shackles, bushings, and the wet bolts. Are these shackles the ones I am looking for? I have also included a picture of the axle label as well. Thank you!

Hey Ken!

Based on the photos and measurements you provided, your current shackles look to be right around 3-1/8" from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the other, so you're definitely looking in the right direction.

Since you'd like to replace the shackles, wet bolts, and bushings all at the same time, I'd actually recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR76ZR. It comes with 3-1/8" center-to-center heavy-duty shackle straps, wet bolts, locknuts, and bronze bushings, so it's a more complete upgrade than purchasing the replacement shackles by themselves.

The one measurement I'd like you to confirm before ordering is the width of your leaf springs. The # MR76ZR is designed around the common 1-3/4" wide double-eye leaf springs. If yours measure 1-3/4" wide, this would be the kit I'd go with for your Cougar.

Can you measure across the width of one of your leaf springs and let me know what you get?

Hi Jerry, Thank you very much for the reply and the assistance. I have measured the leaf spring pack that is currently installed, and they are definitely 1 3/4" in width. With that being said, it sounds like the MR76ZR should work, correct? Thanks again. Ken

@KenT That's correct, you're good to use the # MR76ZR. I am showing it's currently out of stock, but this is something we try to keep in stock so we should have it back soon. Are you planning on doing the install yourself?
