Question:
Hello, I currently have flexco steps on my forest river camper looking to change to LC432696 alum steps. The width of the flexco steps is 27inch and the alum steps are 27 1/2. Is there a hardware kit to make this change or will it not work? standard width from what I see is 27 1/2. Im guessing the flexco steps where a change and are not standard?

Hi Steve! The measurement you'll want to check is the available space between the mounting brackets on your Forest River rather than the width of your existing Flexco steps.
The brackets on the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Steps # LC432696 measure 27-1/2" wide, so as long as you have at least 27-1/2" of clear space they can be installed. If you only have 27" of mounting space, you would need to determine if that area can be opened up slightly to accommodate the wider steps.
Are the old steps worn out or are you just wanting to upgrade?
