Hey Gary! The best option for your 2003 Silverado 2500 is the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BW72QR. This is a sliding 5th wheel hitch so you'll have enough clearance on tighter turns with the short bed. It also comes with rails and custom brackets so you won't have to drill for installation.
If you already have industry standard rails in the truck, you can get the hitch by itself # BWRVK3270. B&W makes some of the best hitches out there so this will make for a really nice setup. If you don't have a wiring connection in the truck, you can add one using the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56070.
