Do I need overhang? Or can I mount it on yakima fx bars?

Hi Dave,

Your crossbars don't need to hang over the the side of the vehicle in order for you to use the MOS UpLift Roof Rack List Assist w/Lock part # MR27RV. The only requirement for the MOS UpLift is that the crossbar spread is 20" minimum or 39" maximum. The UpLift also only works with square, aero/elliptical, and round style crossbars. The Yakima FX crossbars should be an aero style crossbar so no issue there to mount the UpLift to your crossbars.

What are you planning on carrying on the MOS UpLift?
